3 casualties, 4 wounded from the Armenian side
On March 19 at about 08:30, the enhanced group of the adversary’s special detachment organized an attack in the direction of the northern (Gyulistan) positions. As a result of the military operation which lasted about two hours, personnel of front keepers and forces, which came to the rescue, forced the adversary to retreat, then followed them and eliminates the whole group. Alas, DA soldiers Hakob G. Khachatryan (1996), Eduard G. Hayrapetyan (1995) and Arshak K. Harutyunyan (1995) courageously died during the confrontation. Four more soldiers of the Defense Army were wounded. The NKR Defense Ministry extends condolences over the heavy loss and expresses its sympathy to the dead soldiers’ families, relatives and friends.
