Serzh Sargsyan has congratulated Pope Francis on the second anniversary of enthronement. “I am hopeful that your devout service and solicitude will promote peace, kindness and tolerance in the world on these difficult days. “Armenia highly praises the current constructive dialogue with the Holy See in different spheres and the expansion of bilateral relations stemming from a common Christian set of values. We expect our unique relations, which have always stood out by a high-level dialogue, to strengthen and continue their progressive development based on the kind traditions of cooperation that exist between Armenia and the Holy See. I wish you robust health and inexhaustible courage,” reads the message.
