Davit Usupashvili visits Tsitsernakaberd
On February 17, a delegation led by Davit Usupashvili, President of the Georgian Parliament , who is in a two-day official visit in Armenia, accompanied by the RA NA Vice President Hermine Naghdalyan and Vladimir Badalyan, member of the Interparliamentary Committee on cooperation between the RA National Assembly and the Georgian Parliament, have visited Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex. The guests laid flowers at the memorial to the Armenian Genocide victims and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence. Davit Usupashvili, President of the Georgian Parliament, once again expressed condolences to the Armenian people on the occasion of the tragedy that took place 100 years ago. “We must do everything for elimination of such tragedies and wars and for peace in the world,” said the President of the Georgian Parliament. He noted that the Georgian people stand by the Armenian people both in the moments of sadness and joy.
