Ministry of Finance confirm arrest of former lawmaker

The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia confirms news about the arrest of former MP Hakob Hakobyan [a.k.a. Tchoyt]. Thr former lawmaker was arrested on 2 February 2015 as part of criminal case N 83152012 examined as part of the investigative proceedings of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia and is suspected of committing publicly dangerous acts under point 1 of part 3 of Article 188, part 2 of Article 188, part 1 of Articles 38-205, point 1 of part 3 of Articles 38-188, point 1 of part 3 of Article 188, part 1 of Articles 38-205 and part 2 of Articles 38-205 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. The preliminary investigation is underway.
