Gyumri tragedy: People bid farewell to little Seryozha Avetisyan (video)
Thousands of citizens, including high-ranking officials, have come to Surb Nshan Church in Gyumri city to bid farewell to Seryozha Avetisyan, the six-month-old infant who survived a deadly attack in Gyumri on January 12 but died a week later in a Yerevan hospital where he was being treated for trauma sustained in the attack.
“This is the last stage of a funeral procession in Gyumri,” Archbishop Mikael Ajapahyan, the head of the Shirak diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, said addressing the crowd.
