What did Levon Yeranosyan mean when he said protesters were drunk?
In recent days, media outlets and social networks reports that in his conversation with a journalist, Commander of the RA Police Troops Levon Yeranosyan said about 80-90 percent of people participating in the January 15 protest in Gyumri city, were drunk.
Levon Yeranosyan meant the people, who threw at stones at policemen inciting clashes between the sides, and their aggressive behaviour, rather than the participants of the protest who were posing their demand in a exclusively peaceful way,” said the Armenian police.
