Advancement of special units of the rival suspended
According to NKR DA operative data, from January 11-17, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire regime at the line of contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijan about 1200 times. During that period, Azerbaijan fired more than 12000 shots from weapons of different caliber in the direction of Armenian positions. Besides the above mentioned violations the special units of the rival initiated subversive penetration attempts at the line of contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijan in the north-eastern (Jraberd) and the eastern (Akna) directions. The frontier subdepartments of the Defense Army suspended the penetration attempt of the rival’s special forces, causing them losses and making to retreat to their positions.
