Permyakov won’t be judged in the RA: he won’t be given to the RA
RA and RF Prosecutor General's Offices discussed the details of the murder case in Gyumri. Both sides stressed that all the sinners of the tragedy must be punished in accordance with the law. The suspect on the murder Valeri Permyakov is a RF citizen and is under the control of RF law enforcement officers- under the jurisdiction of the RF. So the issue of handing V. Permyakov over to the RA law enforcement officers isn’t discussed taking into account the prohibition of RF Constitution Article 61, Point 1, according to which a RF citizen can’t be handed over to another state. Similar prohibition is set also by the RA Constitution Article 30.1, under which no RA citizen has ever been handed over to another state. The investigation is carried out by the RA and the RF law enforcement bodies. The investigation will be carried out with active cooperation of the RA and the RF law enforcement bodies.
