Serzh Sargsyan holds emergency conference over Gyumri murder
Serzh Sargsyan has held an emergency conference with top officials of Armenia’s law-enforcement agencies over Monday’s murder in Gyumri. Mr Sargsyan ordered to reveal the details of appalling crime, identify those guilty and punish them with the full rigor of the law.
The command of the Russian military base in Russia closely cooperates with the law-enforcement agencies of the Republic of Armenia and renders assistance to the investigation.
All the necessary measures are being taken to detain the suspect under the president’s personal control.
Serzh Sargsyan has also expressed his deepest condolences to the relatives of the victims, says the presidential press office.
