Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly Galust Sahakyan has visited French Embassy in Yerevan to express his condolences to the French people on the occasion of Wednesday's terror attack in Paris on the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo. He signed a book of condolences for those killed in the Paris terrorist attacks on Wednesday. "It was with deep sorrow that we learnt about the terrorist attack on the Charlie Hebdo editorial office on January 7, 2015, which resulted in many people killed and injured. On behalf of Armenian people and myself, I express our sympathy to the families, relatives and friends of the victims, wishing them strength and fortitude. We strongly condemn any infringement on democracy and freedom of speech and, rejecting any manifestation of terrorism, express our sincere sorrow and support to the friendly people of France and the victims’ relatives and wish soonest recovery to the injured,” he said.
