NKR DM- on misinformation
According to NKR DA operative data, from January 7-8, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire regime at the line of contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijan about 400 times. During that period, Azerbaijan fired more than 5500 shots from weapons of different caliber in the direction of Armenian positions. Defense Army first military units gave adequate response to the enemy’s attacks and continued their military duty. What relates to the recent information spread on the Internet on shootings by Karabakh forces in the direction of Azerbaijani peaceful residential areas, it is nothing but misinformation. Armed forces of Artsakh fire only at the rival’s front positions if strictly necessary in order to suppress aggressive actions. Peaceful residential areas have never been targeted by our defense army. Such behavior is typical to Azerbaijani armed forces, which is proved by regular shooting by the rival in the direction of Armenian residential areas situated on Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
