Soldier Koloyan killed in grenade blast
The Military Investigation Department of the Armenian Investigation Committee has instituted a criminal case in connection with the death of soldier David Koloyan who reportedly died on Monday in a fatal accident at one of the posts of the Defense Army stationed in the eastern direction. According to the report, Koloyan died from the wounds he received from the blast of a grenade that was attached to him. Under Article 180 of the Criminal Procedure Code, the scene of the accident and the bulletproof vest Koloyan was wearing were subjected to examination to reveal possible traces of crime and other material objects. The examination provided enough grounds to conclude that Koloyan was killed from a grenade explosion. A criminal case has been filed under Article 110 of the Armenian Criminal Code to clarify the details of the incident.
