100-year-old woman lives alone: She regrets not marrying anyone (video)
Grandmother Manya Harutyunyan is celebrating her 100th birthday. Although the elderly woman lives alone, her friends and relatives have turned the day into a big celebration and a real holiday for her.
Manya Harutyunyan worked for a long time as a teacher, later she managed different theatre groups. She confesses that she became so much absorbed in her work that forgot about her personal life.
“I have always ignored matrimonial life but as I grew older I realized that I had made a big mistake,” she says.
Her only companion is her 85-year-old neighbour who spends most of her time with Manya Harutyunyan. The two women read books and newspapers but are sad that they cannot leave their homes alone.
