Earthquake strikes Iran, tremors felt in Kapan town
A magnitude 4.3 earthquake which struck Iran in the morning was also felt in Armenia’s Kapan town. The quake occurred at 8.05 a.m. Yerevan time, with the jolts measuring 5-6 points in the epicenter, reports the Seismic Protection Service of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations. The hypocenter was at the depth of 10 km. The jolts on the territory of Armenia measured 3 points, says the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
