Azerbaijan violates ceasefire 204 times in one night, uses snipers
Azerbaijan accelerated ceasefire violations along the Line of Contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijani armed forces overnight. Over 204 instances of ceasefire violation were reported along the Contact Line this night, with the Azerbaijani side firing over 2200 shots at Armenian positions from different firearms, the NKR Defense Army reports. In particular, Azerbaijan fired 82- and 60-milimeter mortars 24 times in the eastern section of the frontline. In addition, Azerbaijan fired 144 sniper and 820 machine gun shots, and used other artillery weapons in different sections of the Line of Contact. The Ministry said the frontline units of the Defense Army took adequate actions whenever necessary and kept the situation under control.
