Yerevan Mayor participates in opening of 'Armenia' fair in Moscow

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan who is in Moscow with an official visit took part in the opening of "Armenia" fair within the frames the international festival called "A journey to Christmas: a visit to a fairytale" held in the capital of Russia for the second year running. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to Russia Oleg Yesayan, the President of the Union of Armenians in Russia Ara Abrahamyan, a number of Armenian businessmen and public figures also took part in the ceremony of opening. Opening the fair together with those present Taron Margaryan accompanied by the leader of the representation of the Municipality of Yerevan in Moscow Makar Nahapetyan walked about the area of the fair, familiarized himself with the Armenian goods presented in the pavilions. Presenting the organizational details Makar Nahapetyan noted that this time Moscow townspeople and the thousands of guests of the capital of Russia will get acquainted with the variety of Armenian goods such as souvenirs, traditional sweets and other delicacies. A traditional Armenian tonir was also placed in the fair where the visitors can taste traditional Armenian lavash. The fair «Armenia» got the third prize in this festival last year. Taking this fact into account Makar Nahapetyan assured that this year they will do their best to get a good result again. The New Year pavilions opened in various parts of Moscow by the representatives of numerous cities of the world within the frames of the festival are open till January 12, 2015.
