A criminal case was launched with regard to the excess of official duties: SIS
A resident of Vanadzor city Ani B. reported that on November 11, 2014 she was accompanied by the police to the Taron police department when the officials exerted psychological pressure upon her, humiliated her dignity, mocked and caused personal insults, as a result of which she wrote testimonies inconsistent with the reality. Afterwards, she committed a suicide attempt. A criminal case was launched based on the report filed by the citizen Ani B. as per the materials prepared in the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Armenia in accordance with Part 3 of Article 309 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. A preliminary investigation is underway. SIS
