Another Republican becomes village headman in Armenia
The only candidate running in the Sunday elections in Jamshu community in Aragatsotn marz has received 56 votes.
Republican Mirazm Urusyan will replace former head of the community Tital Aloyan who submitted his resignation on July 7.
Eighty-one out of the 232 eligible voters went to the polls. Six ballots were recognized invalid and 19 people voted against the candidate.
The other candidate, Meraly Sadoyan had withdrawn from the race before the election.
