Barsegh Beglaryan: Joining EEU does not mean throwing ourselves into the arms of Russia (video)
Barsegh Beglaryan, the owner of the Flash Company does not want to comment on Armenia’s decision to join the Eurasian Economic Union. “The decision is already made. Who am I to say whether it was a right or wrong decision? The EEU treaty does not yet mean throwing ourselves into the arms of Russia,” Mr Beglaryan told A1+. He advises waiting for some time to understand the consequences of the decision. “Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. I do not want to act as a judge. We shall have to make the best and the right decision in the new situation,” he said. Mr Beglaryan is Board member of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia today. Among other issues, the meeting focused on Armenia’s accession to the EEU. As a result of discussions it was decided to create a common market for certain products and services. “The market will operate from January 1. Let us wait and see how it will work,” said VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian.
