Extraordinary session at the Government on the issues of borderline villages
Today extraordinary session of the RA Government was held, which was headed by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan. The Government adopted the RA law draft on “Social support to borderline villages”, which regulates the process of support provision to 31 borderline villages accepted by the Government. The another article of the draft partially compensates land and property tax expenses of the people, who own land and property on the territory of borderline communities. Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan added, that the residents, who don’t use gas, will receive relevant sum of money in order to have heating alternative. With the resources from the state budget the RA Government provides shelters in the same territory to the residents of the borderline villages, who became homeless because of actions of Azerbaijani armed forced. Free medical care will be provided to the RA citizens, who were injured as a result of explosion in the territory of borderline or neighboring villages or as a result of actions by Azerbaijani armed forces, the families of the killed citizens will be given lump sum from the state budget for funeral and expenses of gravestone preparation and installation. The present law enters into force from January 1, 2015 and will be in force until January 1, 2018.
