Ambulance arrives at presidential residence to pick up hunger striker (video)
An ambulance arrived at the presidential residence today to pick up Anahit Arushanyan who health deteriorated unexpectedly during a protest. Three days ago the Arushanyan family started a hunger strike outside the presidential residence in order to draw authorities’ attention to the case of their son – Ashot Arushanyan, who has been sentenced to about 6 years in prison for robbery. The family is disputing the verdict at a higher court. “We are afraid that the court will receive a definite order that is why we started a hunger strike,” Anahit Arushanyan said. Today doctors wanted to inject her glucose but she refuse.
