After independence we were unable to provide the corresponding political potential that would be able to organise people, form a sovereign state and carry out foreign and domestic policy stemming from the interests of our people, says Varujan Avetisyan, Spokesman for the Pre-Parliament Civil Initiative. “Foreigners were able to rely on mercenary and servile political agents in Armenia and bring them close to the levers of government.
