Protest action outside CC: Police violate citizens' right to free movement (video)
The Constitutional Court is set to discuss [in a written order] the agreement on Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union on November 14. Deputy Minister of Finance Suren Karayan represents Serzh Sargsyan in the CC. The Court has retired to take a decision. In the meantime, scores of citizens are staging a protest outside the CC against the agreement. Police officers are pushing the protesters to the opposite pavement, violating citizens’ right to freedom of movement. Leader of the Union for National Self-Determination (AIM) Paruyr Hayrikyan, political analyst Stepan Safaryan, as well as parents of fallen soldiers are with the protesters.
