Police have detained eight citizens before the start of the planned Anonymous march in Yerevan. Some of the participants of the march were wearing masks. Deputy Chief of Yerevan Police Valeri Osipyan said that the detainees had violated the rights of other citizens. "They prevent other citizens from walking freely," he said. The group calls for the release of Shant Harutyunyan and his friends who appeared in custody following the events of last November. About 100 people have gathered in Liberty Square. Police have chained Abovyan street and do not let the activists go to Liberty Square, they demand that the group take off their Guy Fawkes masks saying they might scare passers-by.
