Nairit employees will get salaries: negotiations are in process
“Nairit” factory workers will get their whole salary till the end of this year. “Nairit staff was informed about it by Director General,”- “Nairit” press secretary Anush Harutyunyan informed it to “A1+”. According to her words, after paying the debts, pensioner employees’ reduction process will start from January of next year. But those pensioners, who are the main staff, won’t be dismissed. It isn’t known whether the factory will work or not. “Negotiations are in process with Iranian and Russian sides for possible investments,”- informed Anush Harutyunyan. Still on September Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Yervand Zakharyan announced that “Nairit” factory’s debt is 102 billion 876 million AMD, 63 billion 145 million of which is to the Interstate Bank, 8 billion to the budget, 5 billion 768 million AMD to salaries. Former powerful chemical factory hasn’t given production since 2010.
