On November 6 temperature will start increasing in the republic, this was informed by MES Hydrometeorological service Deputy Head Gagik Surenyan. According to his words, warm tropical currents will approach Armenia and temperature will increase by 5-8 degrees. In general, according to the words of Mr. Surenyan, the next ten days of November will be within the norms. Compared with the last year, November is colder this year, but there was such cold November in 2007. Turning to the question, how there wasn’t cold predicted by the MES, Gagik Surenyan noted that what was predicted, that happened. Hydrometeorological service Deputy Head also noted that the reason for cold weather during these days is cold currents from Scandinavia, because of which now snow layer height in Vardenis is 15 cm, in Kajaran- 14 cm and 10 cm in Goris. Today snow is possible in highlands of the capital, as at this moment cold current is approaching from the north-west.
