Republicans commemorate Republican Party founder Ashot Navasardyan
The founder of the Armenian Republican Party Ashot Navasardyan died on November 3, 1997. The Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly, Galust Sahakyan accompanied by Republican lawmakers and Navasardyan’s comrades-in-arm today visited the Yerablur Pantheon in Yerevan to pay tribute to the famous statesman. Ashot Navasardyan, 47, died of a heart attack died at his residence before emergency personnel were able to save him.
