BHK Leader says he will speak at next rally (video)
During the opposition rally in Liberty Square, Leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) Gagik Tsarukyan said he would address the ralliers next time. “Today I am going to listen to my colleagues,” he said. “But today we are laying the foundation for success,” he said. Leader of the Heritage party Raffi Hovannisian reminded in his speech of the rigged presidential vote. “He [Serzh Sargsyan] committed a state crime, stealing people’s votes and neglecting their opinion yet another time.” Speaking about Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union, Mr Hovannisian said, “Today he [Serzh Sargsyan] signed a document which puts Armenia’s independence on sale.” This was followed by loud vociferations, “Now, now.” Interrupting his speech, Raffi Hovannisian said, “Give me a few minutes to discuss our future actions with the opposition leaders.”
