Serzh Sargsyan thanks Minsk Summit participants for political support
The meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council wrapped up in Minsk, Belarus. Along with other documents, the participants of the Minsk-hosted meeting signed the agreement on Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union. Serzh Sargsyan thanked the Heads of States for their political support for the process and assured the attendees that Armenia assumes great responsibility for its membership to the EEU. He also expressed his hope that the head of the EEU will help their parliaments to ratify the treaty by the end of the year so that Armenia can start its work at the Union from January 1.
