Avet Adonts hands over his credentials to King Felipe VI of Spain
On October 6, Armenia’s Ambassador to Spain Avet Adonts handed over his credentials to King Felipe VI of Spain. After the ceremony, Avet Adonts and the King had a private talk. The meeting was attended Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel García-Margallo. The interlocutors stressed the cooperation in international organizations and emphasized the importance of raising the level of political dialogue and economic cooperation. Upon the request of King Felipe VI, Avet Adonts presented Armenia’s stance on issues related to the South Caucasus region and global developments in general. At the end of the meeting, Felipe VI conveyed his best wishes to the Armenian president and people.
