Paris prepares for the meeting of Armenian and the Azerbaijani presidents

Armenia’s Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian has met with his French counterpart Laurent Fabius in Paris. The two men focused on the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process. The Armenian diplomat hailed the constructive engaged of France and the other OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries - Russia and the US – in the peace talks, underlining their joint efforts to achieve a solely peaceful resolution to the Karabakh conflict. The two FMs also discussed preparations for the meeting of Armenian and the Azerbaijani presidents to be held in Paris in late-October. In this context, Edward Nalbandian reaffirmed Armenia’s willingness to continue working together with the Minsk Group co-chairing countries, and toward resolving the conflict. The Armenian and the French FMs also discussed a number of regional and international issues.
