The issue of impeding the work of A1+ journalist will be again examined by the SIS

RA General Attorney, examining the materials prepared in the RA Special Investigation Service based on “Informed citizens union” social organization message and “Hetq.am” news website article and checking the legitimacy of the RA Special Investigation Service CSI investigator’s September 22 decision on the denial of instituting a criminal case, decided,

1. Cancel the RA Special Investigation Service CSI investigator’s September 22 decision on the denial of instituting a criminal case based on the materials prepared in the RA Special Investigation Service based on “Informed citizens union” social organization message and “Hetq.am” news website article and institute a criminal case with regard to RA Criminal Code Article 164 Part 1 (Article164: Hindrance to the legal professional activities of a journalist).

1. Hindrance to the legal professional activities of a journalist, or forcing the journalist to disseminate information or not to disseminate information, is punished with a fine in the amount of 50-150 minimal salaries, or correctional labor for up to 1 year.  

2. Criminal case preliminary investigation is assigned to RA Special Investigation Service.
