Surik Khachatryan to become premier? (video)
We do not care who will come to power. It is more important how he comes to power. Please, step down quietly, Vice-Chairman of the opposition Heritage party Armen Martirosyan said during the opposition’s rally in Ararat city on Friday. “I have to agree with [HAK MP] Levon Zurabyan that [Syunik governor] Surik Khachatryan will be the next prime minister of Armenia. This is why we do not demand the premier’s resignation,” he said. Mr Martirosyan also urged the ralliers to arrive in Yerevan a few days before the October 10 rally as the roads might be closed on that day. In his turn, BHK lawmaker Tigran Urikhanyan urged everyone to contact them in case they find blocked roads or witness cases of intimidation on October 10.
