“Armenia has high rating”: IMF Executive Director
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received International Monetary Fund Executive Director on Armenian issues Menno Snel. Hovik Abrahamyan highly appreciated the cooperation with the IMF and noted that the joint programs have been implemented successfully without any barriers. Prime Minister introduced the priorities of the Government project and noted that the executive must put all its efforts for developing the economic sphere, providing equal conditions, reducing the poverty, fighting against corruption and reducing the shadow. “Institutional reforms are the main guarantees for economic increase and we will implement those reforms,”- noted Hovik Abrahamyan. Expressing satisfaction with the level of cooperation with the RA Government, Menno Snel noted that Armenia has high rating in the IMF executive board. Menno Snel expressed the support of the IMF for implementation of the structural reforms. The speakers also discussed the issues of cooperation and regional developments.
