Kessab Armenians were handed RA passports
From September 4-6, RA general Consul in Aleppo Tigran Gevorgyan visited Kessab and Latakia. On September 5 the general Consul handed RA passports to Kessab residents. Congratulating Kessab Armenians for becoming RA citizens, Tigran Gevorgyan highly appreciated the desire and will of Kessab Armenians to live and work in their land. Kessab Mayor Vazgen Chaparyan thanked Armenian authorities for attention and caring to Kessab Armenians. During the interview after the ceremony general Consul of Armenia and Kessab Mayor discussed problems of Kessab Armenians and their possible solutions. On the next day, September 6, RA general consulate employees hold consular reception for Armenians living in coastal regions of Syria. MFA
