NATO Summit adopts Declaration supporting territorial integrity of Armenia and Azerbaijan
NATO member countries continue to support the territorial integrity, independence and self- sovereignty of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Moldova, reads the declaration adopted at the NATO summit held in Wales on September 4-5. “We will continue to support efforts towards a peaceful settlement of the conflicts in the South Caucasus and the Republic of Moldova on the basis of the principles and norms of international law, the UN Charter and the Helsinki Final Act. We urge all parties to engage constructively and with reinforced political will in peaceful conflict resolution, and to respect the current negotiation formats," reads the declaration.
