Lonely old couple’s house was destroyed (video)
Yesterday in the afternoon Sisian Ter- Ghazaryan Street 27 house resident Heros heard a loud voice. He thought it was a truck. At night he found out that the ceiling had collapsed. Old couple doesn’t have heirs and they live alone. And now they are in defenseless situation. 82-year-old Heros Babayan bought his house in 1987, “This house is unfortunate, before us it was burnt and two children died,”- says Heros Babayan. 82-year-old grandfather worked in Artashat Verin Artashat village as mechanisator for many years. He returned to his native village 27 years ago. “It is a very old building. Walls don’t resist humidity. The roof is wooden,”- says the house owner. He has savings but his age and health don’t allow doing reconstruction. 82-year-old man looks after his 81-year-old wife. “I am unhealthy. Pension is enough. I don’t take my wife to hospital, I buy medicine,”- says Heros Babayan. Rima Isayan is the second wife of Heros Babayan. He doesn’t have children. The only adopted boy refused them.
