We have questions and suggestions for the Prime Minister - Edmon Marukyan (video) (video)

Due to Azerbaijani aggression, martial law has been declared and military operations are being carried out in all directions of Artsakh. The “Bright Armenia” party leader Edmon Marukyan stated this in a talk with journalists in the National Assembly, adding that the night passed relatively peacefully. However, according to him, they have questions and suggestions to the Prime Minister.

Marukyan gives a positive assessment for Armenia's diplomatic work: "For the first time, we were able to achieve very strict statements addressed to Turkey, we were able to achieve international statements about Azerbaijan using mercenaries, representatives of various terrorist groups in the international arena. This has been and still is a challenge in this region, for countries".

Marukyan informed that he had participated in the closed session of the PACE Monitoring Committee in Stepanakert right from the shelter. Having had a heated conversation he informed his international colleagues that at that moment peaceful areas, kindergartens, schools and densely populated districts were being bombed with banned weapons in Stepanakert.

Marukyan emphasized, Turkey is a country that feeds the war, meanwhile wishing to join the Minsk Group, which is clearly inadmissible.

According to Marukyan, the joint statements of US President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin and French President Emanuel Macron can be considered exceptional, as the three presidents agreed on the same statement, which shows that the topic is of significant importance to them.

To the question of  "A1 +" about what expectations he has after Artsakh's call for recognition of its independence, Marukyan replied that the weapon is in our arsenal, but we still have reasons not to use it.

"That should be the last shot."
