Murder of Moscow-based Armenian businessman videotaped
RIA Novosti, a leading news agency in Russia, has posted a video showing the murder of Moscow-based Armenian businessman Hovik Muradyan, who was stabbed to death in Moscow on Wednesday.
The video clearly shows an unknown person approaching the businessman from behind near the entrance to Lotte Plaza hotel in Moscow and then fleeing the scene of the crime.
Muradyan reportedly had an appointment at the hotel. The businessman's relatives have not decided yet where they will Muradyan, his nephew Artashes Mkhitaryan, Head of Tsovasar village in Gegharkunik province, told the press.
A criminal case has been opened in connection with the murder.
Hovik Muradyan and his brother Murad Murdyan, Armenia's ambassador to Iraq Murad Muradyan, set up the Bamo construction company in the Russian capital 20 years ago.
