UN Resident Coordinator pledges to invest his best efforts
Armenia's Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received on June 4 the newly-appointed UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative for Armenia, Bradley Busetto.
The Armenian premier congratulated Mr. Busetto on the appointment and voiced hope that he would foster the cooperation between the Armenian government and the UN Office.
"We are interested in developing and deepening the bilateral ties. We appreciate the joint projects [in different sectors] and their importance," said Tigran Sargsyan.
The UN Resident Coordinator, in turn, pledged to invest his best efforts in strengthening the collaboration. The two men also discussed the course of the implementation of South Caucasus Integrated Border Management (SCIBM) program, as well as cooperation prospects in local government, agriculture and other domains.
