Wolves get active
Resident of the village of Uyts of Sisian region, 49 year-old Heriknaz Vardazaryan was as always working in the garden and the lambs were in the open-air cote when she noticed some stir among them. When she approached the cote she noticed the wolf which was running away.
"Wolves take away dogs and lambs, foxes take away hens", she said.
Her husband, 57 year-old Patvakan Torosyan said, that every year wolves take away considerable amount of cattle from the villagers. He is a member of the local hunters' union and said, that wolves have puppies at this season and that is why they become active.
Last year he caught 3 wolves through the trap in his garden.
