Armenia left Russia behind, says Russian cadastre official
Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received on May 17 Natalya Antipina, Head of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Russian Federation.
The Armenian premier highlighted the importance of expanding relations between the two countries' cadastre agencies, which, he said, would promote an exchange of experience and the implementation of reforms in the sector.
In her turn, the Russian official informed the Armenian PM that they had signed a cooperation agreement with the Armenian State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre, and expressed hope that the document would contribute to developing bilateral collaboration.
Natalya Antipina said she was highly impressed by Armenia's achievements in the domain, which allowed the country to record progress in the Doing Business report and even go ahead of Russia on the ranking list.
It was also informed that the joint conference of the cadastral agencies of the CIS countries would be convened soon. The conference will focus on the existing challenges and their possible solutions.
The interlocutors also addressed the bilateral efforts towards training the personnel, digitalization of archive materials, cartography, etc.
