There is cause for reflection on the eve of Genocide anniversary
On the eve of the 100th anniversary of the Genocide, the world expects a striking step from Armenians, says Aram Sargsyan, Chairman of the Democratic Party of Armenia (HDK) and Deputy Chairman of the World Armenian Congress.
"But we have not taken any step, we have not even developed a concept," he stressed.
"In an effort to reach international recognition of the Genocide, we have forgotten that it is equally important to speak about the elimination of its consequences."
"I want to cite the words of lawyer and diplomat Yuri Barseghov, who proposed to internationalize the issue by creating a special court," said Mr Sargsyan.
However, the HDK chairman doubts whether we are ready to struggle on that level and win.
