Armenia supplied weapons to Lybia?
Tigran Balayan, a spokesman for the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has responded Armenpress news agency in connection with reports that Armenia has supplied arms to Libya.
There is no mention about Armenia's arms supply for Gaddafi in the UN experts' report on transfer of weapons to Libya. The report does not contain any accusations against Armenia, Balayan said in response to Armenpress.
"According to the report which is available on the UN website, NATO member-countries and private companies were involved in the transfer of weapons to Libya. Two companies registered in Armenia are also included in the list. In response to the inquiry of UN experts, Armenia gave them details about these companies," said the MFA official.
