Levon-Ter-Petrosyan did not dream of praying with Vova Gasparyan
During today's congress of Armneina Nationa Congress Levon Ter-Petrosyan mentioned that their objective was to implement bourgeois-democratic revolution although many people are afraid of this word.
"Currently, all the present civilizations have been created on the basis of this revolution.We were greeted with hostility criticizing how it was possible to cooperate with Prosperous Armenia (BHK). But what was bad about it? Today we have picked one branch from the tree of the criminal authorities, tomorrow we will pick another. I do not exclude that during the upcoming elections BHK will get serious blow since Serzh Sargsyan feels that danger".
Refferin to Raffi Hovhannisyan and post-electoral developments Levon-Ter -Petrosyan mentioned that he was the first political force who said that during the elections of February 18 Raffi Hovhannsiayn was the winner.
"This is the biggest political support that he received, and also the fact that half of the population gathered in Freedom square for the rallies were ANC supporters."
I do not want to give negative or ironic assessment about Raffi Hovannisian's actions. Now when he is on the barricades, he can not be made remarks like that: Why did not ANC leadership come to the platform to stand next to Raffi. There is a very popular question that was circulated by Serzh Sargsyan: Why should have I joined? Should have I joined to go to Tsitsernakaberd and to pray with chief policeman Vova Gasparyan when the whole nation was waiting for precise steps and actions? Sorry, but it has never been my childhood dream. We are a political party and we support only the political processes. However during the post-election period we saw everything except the political processes".
Levon Ter-Petrosyan also said that they did not really matter who would have been the head of the municipal list of the united opposition in the City Councilors' elections. "Remember, if someone wants to become a president, it's the best way is the municipal elections. Taron (Yerevan Mayor -editorial) is not a person for me, but rather an appointed marionette of a system. We are fighting against this system and regime".
By the way, during the 2nd session of ANC's Congress the number of delegates reached 1108. ANC member Arman Musinyan said in his speech that a very important achievement had to be mentioned:
"We have broken a vicious phenomenon, that is the unpleasant attitude toward partisanship. Nowadays we can observe how many young people are ready to become a party member and have an impact on the political process. And this phenomenon is gradually developing and the results of it we will enjoy very soon".
