"There are no political disputes between the two countries"

Armenia's Acting Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received on Friday Karel Schwarzenberg, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.

"I'm confident that your visit will give fresh impetus to the reinforcement of relations between the two countries," Tigran Sargsyan said, attaching special importance to the Yerevan-hosted Armenian-Czech forum on April 11, which featured 13 Czech companies.

The interlocutors underlined the necessity of establishing business ties, which will contribute to the expansion of perspectives of Armenian-Czech economic cooperation.
The Czech official noted that his country attaches great importance to the deepening of ties with Armenia and underlined that there are no political disputes between the two countries.

Regarding Armenia's European integration, Tigran Sargsyan expressed gratitude to the Czech side for the support on that path. Karel Schwarzenberg said in turn, that his country is ready to maintain its contribution to the reforms implemented in Armenia within the framework of the European Neighborhood Policy.

Mr Sargsyan added that Armenia-EU negotiations on the Association Agreement, particularly the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area, continue, and the parties are doing their best to complete the talks before the Vilnius summit to be held by the turn of the year. The interlocutors also referred to the perspectives of development of cooperation in the fields of Information Technologies and other branches of economy.
