Karine Achemyan: Hovannisian had better bid farewell to politics
Republican lawmaker karine AChemyan believes that Serzh Sargsyan has created an atmosphere of tolerance in Armenia and has taken all possible measures to enter into dialogue with Heritage Party Leader Raffi Hovannisian.
She says the Heritage leader has always had an opportunity to help people with his constructive steps, but he has refused to do it.
If there is no desire for further cooperation, Hovhannisian had better quit politics," she said.
Karine Achemyan does not consider it logical that Heritage members be given parliamentary mandates, as she thinks that ‘Republicans have earned their mandates.'
"How can you demand a president's or minister's portfolio if you do not have a definite political program? This is infantility," she said.
The Republican MP believes that Heritage members cannot work for the country as honestly as the acting government.
Achemyan says the upcoming municipal elections are a good opportunity to show the potential of each political force. She claims that in the February 18 election Raffi Hovannisian also received the votes of people who supported other forces that did not participate in the ballot.
"Raffi Hovannisian's team will lose many votes if the competition is great in the forthcoming campaign," she said.
