CEC gives Arakelutyun Party another 48 hours for registration
In its special session on March 27, the Central Election Commission (CEC) gave the Arakelutytun (Mission) party another 48 hours to complete its documents to be submitted for the May 5 municipal elections in Yerevan.
CEC Secretary Armen Smbatyan said the package of documents submitted by the Arakelutytun was incomplete and did not contain a certificate confirming that the party has paid the lawfully required election deposit, which is in the amount of 3,000 times of the minimum wage.
The CEC also approved the samples of seals to be used in local elections in Gegharkunik, Armavir, Kotayk, Lori and Shirak marzes (provinces).
