Gagik Tsarukyan to grow morally poorer?
If opposition member Zoya Tadevosyan were to vote for the Leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), she would show with her choice her disapproval of the authorities.
"I would have seen that political force as an alternative to others," says the member of the opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK).
"If [BHK Leader] Gagik Tsarukyan fails to fulfill his promise and second people as an opposition force, he will grow morally poorer," says Zoya Tadevosyan.
However, Tadevosyan sees HAK Leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan as the most suitable candidate in the 2013 presidential election. She says all political forces affiliated with the opposition alliance are unanimous on the issue.
Asked to account for people's disappointment with the opposition alliance, Zoya Tadevosyan said, "They wanted to be armed with shovels and stakes and attack but democracy is a long way to pass. We should remember that non-constitutional actions are unacceptable. Normal people are not disappointed."
