AZhM Chairman presentes his vision
The Council of the National Democratic Union (AZhM) convened a meeting on Dec. 1, which was attended by the head of the party's regional structures and members of the board.
The meeting participants discussed the upcoming presidential elections and the party's position. The sitting was chaired by AZhM Chairman Vazgen Manukyan who presented his vision of the ongoing political processes, analyzed the expected developments and called on AZhM members to voice their proposals and opinions.
It was unanimously decided that AZhM will not field a candidate in the 2013 presidential election. The heads of the party's regional structures presented people's expectations from the election. It was decided to convene an extended meeting of the party's board to clarify AZhM's position on the presidential election.
